The Defenders Detachment started as an un-official Detachment of the 501st Legion in 2018.
Now we allow members of the Rebel Legion, Mando Mercs/ Mando Clans, Dark Empire, Droid builders, saber Guild and SITH DYNASTY.
This Detachment is made up any First Responders (current and former).
That means, Police, Fire, EMS, Doctors, Nurses, all Military branches, Special security forces, special services and public servants...
Any proceeds collect from merchandise goes to various charity.

In April 2023 The Defenders Detachment became an official club recognized by Lucas Films Licensing (LFL) .
We now attended LFL events along with other LFL clubs under the same guidelines. We have our own bylaws, policies and procedures. We approve costumes for members who meet the guidelines of being a Defender. We also have some of our own CRLs ( Costume References Library).
