The Defenders Detachment started as an un-official Detachment of the 501st Legion in 2018 by Matthew Cohen and Adam Bradshaw as a support group for first responders in the legion.
Now we have grown in to a larger role and become a well known group with a stronger purpose. On 8th April 2023 we announced our merger with the ©LFL licensed clubs to have representation for our members who fit the criteria in all clubs.
Defenders have members of the Rebel Legion, Mando Mercs/Mando Clans, Dark Empire, Droid builders, Saber Guild, SITH DYNASTY, Wookie Warriors and even approved Handlers.
We now also have Honorary membership for those who have gone above and beyond to represent the Star Wars community and others.
